Your Home Dashboard
The home dashboard is the first thing you see when you sign in - a personal landing page that pulls together what needs your attention and your own recent activity. It's different from the analytics dashboards your district builds for reporting.
Alert banners
When something needs attention, colored alert banners appear across the top of the dashboard - for example, submissions waiting too long. They show only while a condition is met, so an empty top means nothing is flagged. These are configured by your district; see Notifications.
Announcements
The Announcements tab shows messages your district has posted - a headline, a short message, an optional longer write-up behind Show Details, and any attachments. See Announcements.
Your recent activity
The remaining tabs are your personal view of your work - no navigating required:
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Hours Entries | The hours you've logged recently - see Log your hours. |
| My Submissions | Your timesheets and other submissions and where each one is - see Submissions & lifecycle. |
| My Assignments | The positions you hold - see Employee assignments. |
Quick actions
Buttons at the top let you jump straight into the most common tasks without leaving the dashboard:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Today's Hours Entry | Logs time for today - it picks your active assignment and pre-fills start/end from your last entry (rounded to the nearest five minutes). If today is a holiday, it asks for a reason. |
| Take a Break | Adds an unpaid break to today's hours entry without opening it - defaulting a short break rounded to the nearest five minutes. |
| Import Data | Where your district loads hours from a spreadsheet - see Data import tools. |
The year selector in the top-right scopes the dashboard to a fiscal year (or All Years). If something you expect is missing, check that the year is set the way you want - see fiscal years & windows.
